Compiled from IATA Timatic and each country's official government checker (linked per destination in the verdict card). Categories: visa-free, eTA / authorisation (ESTA, eTA, eVisitor, ETIAS, K-ETA, NZeTA), e-visa (apply online), visa-on-arrival, conditional, visa required.
Real, commonly applied rules — the 6-month rule used by many Asian, African and Middle-Eastern states; the 3-months-beyond-stay rule in Schengen; and the "valid for the whole stay" standard in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and much of the Americas. Shown per passport–destination record. Always check your exact passport and dates.
Method
Stay limits and validity are stored per passport–destination record, not per destination — so a visa-required pair never shows a visa-free stay window, and a conditional route (e.g. Russia → Mexico, which needs a valid US/Canada visa) is labelled "conditional — official checker required" instead of a clean tier. The dataset ships with an executable integrity check (integrity-check.js) that asserts these invariants across all 660 pairs.
